No more chasing your hat in the wind or adjusting it every few minutes. Our Drawstring & Toggle makes sure you customize your fit so that it stays put no matter the weather or activity.

Think boating, hiking, paddle boarding, or wherever there may have heavy gusts of wind.

The Drawstring & Toggle are a customized option - meaning there is an additional production step where we punch small eyelet holes in the brim either side of the crown. The Drawstring & Toggle are removable but the small holes are not. If not selected this feature is not included with our standard hats.

For the Bucket Hat, the Drawstring & Toggle is sewn in. If not needed, it can be securely tucked into the crown. To remove, you can use fine toothed scissors to clip the 3 threads attaching it to the inside of the crown.

Colour Options: We try match the lace to the same colour as the hat, or plaited band where possible.

    Great addition to my Chiller

    I think the drawstring is a must-have. It's great addition to my hat, not only for hanging my hat over my back, but for pulling up the brim for a different look.

    I am not a fan og drawstrings on hats - I think they spoil the hoot and get in the way. My wife convinced me to buy it so I did nt lose the hat in windy wether while we were travelling through Spain. I am glad I followed her advice. The drawstring fits over the hat brim and lays behind your head when it is not in use (the way I have it 99% of the time). It looks good and it is out of the way, yet easy to grab and use when it is needed. If you are ever likely to wear the hat in a windy location and you don't want to lose the hat when it blows overboard, or chase it through a busy street because a gust of wind caught you off guard, or you simply don;t want to walk around holding your hat to your head because it is a little breezy, then I recommend the drawstring and toggle.

  • "The best hat I’ve ever owned! I travel a lot and was looking for a versatile packable hat for warmer weather. I explored the Aussie Chiller site and ordered the perforated Bushie based on the reviews. I’m so happy I did. I live in the northeast US and recently traveled to Key West Florida. The Bushie came out of my suitcase unscathed. Just popped it back in shape. I wore it all the time from the beach, pool, soaked it and it kept me cool in very warm weather.
