The galvanised steel wire in the brim will allow it to maintain its shape, even in the water! The Ranger is hand-crafted from our premium custom Faux Suede (no animal products).

Featuring an 8.0cm/3.1" brim, plaited banding, ventilation eyelets, nickel rust proof hardware, and soft elastic interior banding for a secure fit. Light-weight and durable with a 50+UPF Sun Protection rating.

I explored the Aussie Chiller site and ordered the perforated Bushie based on the reviews. I’m so happy I did. I live in the northeast US and recently traveled to Key West Florida.     Nice and snug

    This hat originally fit a little large, as my head size was just over the S size and had to go to the Large size.

    I used some fillers under the sweat band and now it fits nice and snug. My past hats had a tendency to blow off my head in the wind. Not this one.

    Very happy with the purchase.

    My #7 Aussie Chiller

    Since purchasing my first Bushie Chiller back in 2024, and the subsequent 6 more of different styles and coIours, I have come to the conclusion that these are the only hats I will ever need. I loved the concept of the product from the very beginning, the style, material, shapes, lightness and ability to be wet and keep their shape. I have a large collection of hats of various makes and styles, but the Chillers never fail to garner compliments, especially the personalized models. I even had an Aussie bloke ask me where I got it on our Transit system. I daresay he was quite taken with it. Of course I furnished him with the website address to possibly purchase his own. I was even told that I looked quite elegant in my Camel Ranger with the blonde band that goes especially well with my brandy coloured suede spring jacket. I am one happy Canadian customer.
